Plantación voluntaria de riberas

Join the Providence Stormwater Innovation Center in a volunteer shoreline planting day along Bellefont Brook at the outflow to Roger Williams Park.  Riparian areas next to a stream supply habitat for wildlife, help filter water quality pollutants, provide shading which lowers stream temperatures and supports higher dissolved oxygen levels, and stabilize stream banks and prevent erosion.  You will need waterproof boots, work gloves, mask and a shovel if you have one.  For more information, contact rkopp@asri.org.
