STORMWATER PLANNING SERIES TRAINING

Upcoming trainings are listed on our EVENTS page

Description:

This is a training series for City/Town and NGO staff to promote uniform regional approaches for developing watershed and/or catchment area stormwater plans identifying locations, conceptual designs, magnitude of order cost estimates, and stormwater credits for installing Green Infrastructure and/or stormwater retrofits.

Objectives:

Participants develop a stormwater plan for their selected drainage area, and learn about options to implement low cost and simple stormwater solutions.  Stormwater plans will identify potential locations for stormwater retrofits/GI installations, conceptual designs for 1-4 stormwater control measures (site appropriate SCM, inflow/outflow, and approximate dimensions) sufficient to calculate magnitude of order costs, and stormwater credits.

The SNEP Network is a project of the New England Environmental Finance Center. This project has been funded, in whole or in part, by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Southeast New England Program
