Emerging Stormwater Technologies In Rhode Island: StormFilter

Description:

This webinar will provide an overview of the process of selecting and designing a proprietary stormwater treatment device for permitting in Rhode Island, with a focus on the StormFilter.  Although this training is specific to RI, the information that will be presented is extremely valuable and relevant for all designers, reviewers, and municipalities interested in learning about implementing proprietary stormwater treatment devices to meet water quality goals and/or TMDL requirements on challenging sites.

A representative from Contech Engineered Solutions will go over what the StormFilter is, how it works, and how to determine what size device is needed; along with other design limitations, best practices, maintenance considerations, and more. RIDEM staff will also provide a description of their process for certifying new proprietary stormwater treatment devices.
